The Louisiana Army National Guard responds to crisis in our community and, when needed, around the world. As “Minutemen”, when a disaster strikes our state we can quickly respond to safeguard our communities.
As the force in readiness, Guardsmen receive benefits from both the state and federal levels because of their dual roles. These benefits include tuition exemption, Montgomery Gi Bills, sign on bonuses and much more. All the while they are working part time for the Guard and full time achieving their goals.
